What are these based on?
This list is based on traditional customs and the Panchang: weekday traditions, the tithi at sunrise (such as Ekadashi, Amavasya or a Rikta tithi), the nakshatra, Bhadra, Panchak, Disha Shool and Rahu Kaal. Rahu Kaal, Abhijit Muhurat and Choghadiya timings are calculated from sunrise and sunset in the selected city. Traditions differ between regions and families, so consult your family priest before any major undertaking.
